National Endowment for the Arts Stimulus Grants to 3 Nevada Organizations "Congratulations to three Nevada arts organizations receiving direct stimulus grants from the National Endowment for the Arts in support of job preservation in the arts – Clark County Cultural Division, Las Vegas ($50,000); Reno Chamber Orchestra, Reno ($25,000); and Western Folklife Center, Elko ($50,000).
The NEA received more than 2,000 applications for these funds, provided by the American Economic Recovery & Reinvestment Act, and awarded 631 direct grants totaling $29,775,000."
