Presentation and discussion with Great Basin Basketmakers Founder Mary Lee Fulkerson.

Ms. Fulkerson, also founder of Wild Women, explores the very nature and definition of basketry, the question of art versus craft, and the evolution of “old time” basketry to contemporary woven sculptures and constructions.

Joining the discussion Rossitza Todorova, Nevada Arts Council Community Arts Program Development Associate; and Deborah Stevenson, Nevada State Museum Curator of Education
