The Nevada Arts Council Traveling Exhibition Program delivers high quality visual arts exhibits to communities throughout the state.
The image to the right, "Moth Prayer" by Elizabeth Gomez, is from "Voces Latinas: Works on Paper from 1921– present," the latest addition to the exhibition program.
'Voces' showcases artworks by seventeen artists who represent the diverse range of creative voices within the Latino community. Drawn primarily from the Nevada Museum of Art permanent collection, it highlights works on paper from the earliest years of the twentieth century to the present and touches on complex subjects and issues that continue to inspire dialogue and debate within—as well as beyond—the Latino community. Available March 2007-March 2009.
Note that a linked exhibit is currently on display at the Nevada Museum of Art through March 18, 2007.
