Living legend David Dondero will be playing Sunday, August 21 at the Holland Show Space in Reno. In 2006 NPR named Dondero one of the best living songwriters alongside Tom Waits and Bob Dylan. He played with This Bike is a Pipe Bomb and toured with practically every band you’ve ever listened to (including but not limited to: Against me!, Bright Eyes, Mountain Goats, Mischief Brew, and Crooked Fingers). Awahnichi is the solo project of one of the members of the awesome Merced band; El Olio Wolof and Handsome Vultures are local rad-loud folk.
All-Ages, $5. Doors open 7pm; performance 8pm (SHARP!).
