Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Grant

On the final day of Fiscal Year 2009, the Capital City Arts Initiative is honored to announce that it has been awarded its second grant from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

The two-year, fifty-thousand dollar grant from the New York-based foundation will support CCAI's visual arts program.

"This grant will play an instrumental role in the future health and vitality of our organization and programs," comments CCAI Executive Director Sharon Rosse. "It's especially critical at a time when the Nevada Arts Council grants budget has been slashed, and when individual donors are feeling the economic crunch as well."

"We are honored to receive support from this visionary, national foundation," adds CCAI Board President Glenn Clemmer.
