"... Bay Area meta-mapmaker has created an astonishing 3-D map using traditional map making techniques and a bizarre mix of digital tools .... The installation is a response to the human relationship with mining and the land specifically surrounding the Comstock and its Lode.
Graham states, “When making a map people are required to define the world around them, limited by elements that must be identifiable to an audience/community. When looking at maps, they often times have very direct social implications for a certain time and place.”"
