Canada Later, Nevada NOW!

Late breaking news: due to illness, Montreal-based curator Sylvie Gilbert will be unable to travel to Carson City for her Nevada Neighbors presentation tomorrow – Wednesday, February 18 – at the Carson City Library.

We are delighted [make that elated!] to announce that the Nevada Museum of Art's brilliant director David Walker is able to present in her place.

In what promises to be a lively, illustrated presentation, Mr. Walker will highlight the Museum's rich programs in its past, ambitious current activity, and trail-blazing future projects, while reflecting on the unprecedented opportunities and challenges for contemporary art museums here in northern Nevada and across the globe.

We encourage you all to come hear and see his presentation:

Our thanks to David for stepping in at the last moment to help out a neighbor!

And we already have plans in the works to reschedule Ms. Gilbert's presentation at a later date.
