The Churchill Arts Council will present Aquila Theatre’s new production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, on Saturday, April 2nd, at 8:00 p.m. in the Oats Park Art Center, 151 E. Park Street, Fallon. Tickets—$17 for CAC members, $20 non-members, $10 for children—are available in Fallon at Jeff’s Copy Express, Postage Plus, ITT @ NAS Fallon or by calling CAC at 775-423-1440.

Aquila Theatre is a classically trained, modernly-hip troupe based in New York. They present an imaginative interpretation of Shakespeare’s timeless comedy, weaving theatrical magic in conjuring an enchanted forest, Athenian courts and a strife-torn fairy kingdom. Their assaying of love and its complications—lust, frustration, confusion and, of course, marriage—makes for a Dream you won’t soon forget. For more information, visit www.aquilatheatre.com

The Company will also present a free program, “Ancient Greeks/Modern Lives,” part of a national program to inspire people to come together to read, see and think about classical literature, how it continues to invigorate American cultural life. This reading will take place at 3:00 PM at the Art Center and has been made possible by a Chairman’s Special Award from the National Endowment for the Humanities: great ideas brought to life. There will also be a free Pre-Performance Talk and Q&A at 6:00 PM. If you are interested in attending either of these events, CAC requires an RSVP to the number above.
