The exhibit Nevada: The Photography of Cliff Segerblom is now on display at the Nevada State Museum through August 2, 2011. The exhibition of 25 large format black and white photographs invites viewers to explore the immense changes that have occurred in Nevada from 1938 - 1980.
Cliff Segerblom was chief photographer for the Bureau of Reclamation Hoover Dam Project. His photographs have been published in Life, Time, and National Geographic magazines and displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City where his work is part of the permanent collection. The Nevada exhibition was organized by the Springs Preserve of Las Vegas and presented by the Nevada State Museum.
The museum is open Wednesdays - Saturdays, 8:30 - 4:30pm. For information call 775.687.4810.
